As a Small Mountain Resort Help, you will assist with cabin cleaning, food preparation in the kitchen, and light groundskeeping tasks like watering flower beds. All roles are paid positions, emphasizing our commitment to fair compensation for your valuable contributions. We have a seasonal part-time employment opportunity available including some meals.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of cabins, ensuring they are spotless, comfortable, and guest-ready
- Help keep up with laundry duties
- Assist with food preparation in the kitchen, including pizza parlor type foods, ingredient handling, and adhering to food safety standards
- Support light groundskeeping tasks such as watering flowers and trees, flower bed maintenance, and outdoor tidying to maintain the resort’s natural beauty
- Help with kitchen organization, dishwashing, and maintaining cleanliness in food prep areas
- Help with tavern cleanliness, including clearing tables, taking trash out, wiping down tables and chairs
- Follow proper food handling procedures during meal service and food storage to ensure safety and hygiene
- Assist with special event setups as needed
- Contribute to a positive guest experience by maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at all times

Experience
- No prior experience in dietary departments required; willingness to learn is highly valued
- Experience in basic food preparation and cooking will be advantageous but all dishes are easy assembly and can be taught. THIS IS NOT A CHEF OR COOK POSITION.
- Familiarity with meal preparation and food handling techniques is beneficial
- Previous kitchen experience helps develop essential skills such as knife handling and adherence to food safety protocols
- Knowledge of basic groundskeeping or outdoor maintenance tasks is a plus
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail is a must, as well as ability to follow safety guidelines in food handling and cleaning procedures
- Enthusiasm for working outdoors and maintaining a clean environment while providing excellent guest service

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
