Granite Bay Dermatology and Laser Center is seeking an experienced, reliable, pleasant individual to join our growing clinical team in Roseville, CA. Immediate opening for a medical assistant with dermatology and surgical assisting experience. Must have verifiable experience with aesthetic procedures and assisting with surgical procedures. Nextech experience is a plus! EMR documentation, scribing experience, rooming patients, and previous experience assisting with procedures (including surgery) is necessary. Previous experience in a dermatology practice is preferred. The right candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, multiple provider clinic environment. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Room patients, assist providers with cosmetic procedures, surgeries and exams while documenting the encounter for providers.
- Provide meticulous charting/scribing in EMR system (Nextech)
- Process clinical patient phone calls, including providing pathology results.
- Process prescriptions.
- Adhere to all requirements of a medical office including HIPAA, OSHA and client confidentiality.
- Perform other medical and office tasks as needed.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate of Medical Assisting program.
- Demonstrated ability to be a part of and excel in a team based environment.
- Must be extremely attentive to detail, and able to comprehend and carry out directions from provider(s).
- Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Must be reliable and have excellent attendance.
- Exceptional customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Typing speed of 50+wpm.
