Job Description: As a bartender at Ling & Louie's, you will be the face of our bar, providing top-notch service to our guests. Your role will be to craft delicious cocktails, recommend drink pairings, and ensure that every guest has a memorable experience. You’ll be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and handling transactions accurately.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Engage with guests, take orders, and provide recommendations.
- Ensure that all beverages are prepared according to company recipes and standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including glassware, equipment, and supplies.
- Check identification to verify legal age requirements for alcohol service.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
- Assist with restocking and inventory management.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Uphold company policies, including responsible alcohol service.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mixology and cocktail preparation.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
