JOB The Town of Breckenridge Public Works Department is seeking a dedicated and customer service oriented individual for the position of
Senior Parks Operator. Individuals in this position are responsible for assisting the Streets & Parks Manager, Assistant Managers and Supervisors in the responsibility for the maintenance of the Town's landscaped areas, sidewalks, roadways, paths, streetlights, athletic fields, and natural areas.
This position will have a significant focus on irrigation responsibilities including installation, repairing, programming, and maintaining irrigation systems.
Senior Parks Operators are responsible for the maintenance of various types of landscapes, machinery, equipment, and tools in a safe, efficient manner to maintain, analyze, repair, and perform improvements to Town features with a primary focus related to Parks Maintenance. The incumbent will also share in the responsibility for pavement maintenance, snow & ice removal, and drainage maintenance. Additionally, the individual in this role will be responsible for record-keeping duties consisting of safety data sheet information, areas specific daily safety checks, cleaning logs, sledding hill maintenance log and mapping.

Hiring Range: $27.50 - $33.06 per hour, $57,200.00 - $68,764.80 if annualized.
WORK SCHEDULE:
Must be able to work shifts that may include days, nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call as needed, up to 40 hours per week. This position may also require overtime at the discretion of management.
