Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An exciting opportunity awaits experienced School Psychologists seeking a meaningful contract role supporting students ranging from early childhood through high school. Based on current assignment availability, your caseload and age groups may vary, ensuring diverse and impactful experiences throughout the school year. This full-time, onsite-only position runs from July 31, 2026, through May 26, 2027, with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule (35 hours per week).
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years prior school-based psychology experience
- Master’s, Specialist’s, or Doctorate degree in School Psychology
- Active Colorado Department of Education Special Service Provider License (School Psychology endorsement)
- Strong skills in student assessment, crisis response, collaborative teamwork, and written/oral communication
- Experience working effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Proficient technology skills, including documentation and progress monitoring platforms
- Must complete district background check and fingerprinting
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and group counseling in line with students’ IEP mental health goals
- Develop and implement interventions at student, group, and system levels
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and outside service providers to address academic, social, emotional, and behavioral challenges
- Conduct suicide risk assessments, respond to crises, and participate in threat assessment teams
- Perform comprehensive IEP evaluations (cognitive, social, emotional, behavioral, adaptive skills)
- Create Functional Behavioral Assessments and Behavioral Intervention Plans
- Participate in IEP pre-planning, special education teams, MTSS, and behavior health meetings
- Provide psychoeducation, academic and behavior consultation, and professional development to school staff
- Coordinate and refer students and families to community resources as needed
