Glovis Georgia, a tier one supplier to Kia Georgia in West Point, Georgia has an opening for a 3rd Shift Sunday-Thursday (10:30 pm - 7am) Warehouse Supervisor.
Job Responsibilities will include:
Being responsible for the day to day operations of assigned department. Will lead Team Leaders and manage the overall performance and work output of all warehouse Team Members. Will be responsible for monitoring orders to ensure they are delivered on time and correct to customer, monitor incoming shipments to ensure that product is received in correctly and stored appropriately. Will handle corrective actions regarding warehouse Team Members. Completing daily shift paperwork and reports. Work directly with customer to ensure that emergency shipments are handled appropriately.
Minimum Skills:
-High School Diploma Preferred but will consider experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.
-Advanced communication, critical thinking, planning and organizational skills.
-Ability to effective manage Team Members in a way that generates results while creating a good working environment.
-MUST HAVE 3-5 Years as a supervisor, preferably in a warehouse environment.
-Must be proficient in Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
-Must be able to work overtime as needed including weekends.
-Must be able to create training documents, work instruction and operational manuals for department.
-Experience with conducting interviews, performance reviews and handling corrective action processes.
-Must be able to work independently and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
-Must have experience working directly with customers and outside vendors.
-Proven ability to prioritize and work through multiple projects within a timely manner.
-Must be able to function and adapt to an ever changing environment.
