HVAC Technician - Job Description Position Summary
The HVAC Technician is responsible for the maintenance, and repair of residential heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform maintenance, diagnostic, and repairs on heating and cooling systems with accuracy and professionalism.
Communicate clearly and honestly with customers, explaining services and recommendations.
Complete all required documentation, including work orders, service notes, parts requests, and time cards.
Attach clear photos of all model and serial numbers to each customer account in WEX for proper record keeping and equipment tracking.
Maintain a clean and organized work space, including both your vehicle and shop work areas.
Follow the Everest Lead Generation Process on every call to identify opportunities and support company growth.
Responsible for maintaining a set conversion rate, and ensuring consistent revenue performance.
Respond promptly to service calls and complete work efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
Participate in the on call rotation as scheduled and respond to emergency service requests with professionalism and urgency.
Support coworkers and promote teamwork through communication, cooperation and respect.
Ensure compliance with all safety policies, company procedures, and local HVAC codes.

Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
EPA Certification (Type I, II or Universal) required. (Company can assist in obtaining)
Minimum of 2 years of HVAC service, maintenance or installation experience preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., climb ladders and work in various indoor and outdoor conditions.
Ability to work in confined spaces or at elevated heights.
Exposure to various environmental conditions including heat, cold and humidity.
