Responsibilities
- Drink preparation — Craft espresso + energy drinks with precision and consistency
- Customer engagement — Greet every guest with warmth, positivity, and cultural awareness
- Workspace upkeep — Maintain a clean, organized, elegant environment
- Creative contribution — Share ideas for seasonal menus and visual displays
- Brand representation — Embody PNW ESPRESSO’s values in every interaction
Duties
- Prepare beverages according to established recipes and standards
- Deliver exceptional service while taking orders and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment, tools, and café areas
- Assist with food prep and follow all food safety guidelines
- Handle cash accurately with basic math skills
- Monitor inventory and assist with restocking
- Support a positive environment for both customers and coworkers
Requirements
- Previous barista experience required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Knowledge of food handling + safety regulations
- Confident with cash handling and basic math
- Ability to multitask during busy periods
- Experience in food service or retail is a plus
