As a retail assistant manager, you will be handling cash and credit transactions from customers, duties will include daily accounting, sending reports, manage schedule and employees, preparing and serving food, cleaning, stocking and maintaining supplies and products.

Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of employees, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
- Oversee employee orientation, training, and development programs to enhance team skills.
- Manage recruitment processes, including interviewing and hiring new staff members.
- Handle payroll processing and bookkeeping tasks to maintain accurate financial records.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage purchasing to ensure product availability.
- Implement effective merchandising strategies to maximize sales opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and customer service.
- Utilize retail math for pricing strategies and sales management.
- Foster a positive customer experience through effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
- Maintain organized records related to sales, inventory, and employee performance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail and restaurant management or assistant manager roles with strong supervisory experience.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to manage vendor relationships effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in inventory management, including control and stocking procedures.
- Proficient in using POS systems for transactions and reporting purposes.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial reporting within a retail context.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
