We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Vascular/Cardiac Technologist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of non-invasive vascular and cardiac ultrasound examinations to assist physicians in the diagnosis and evaluation of circulatory and cardiovascular disorders.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations, including:
- Carotid artery duplex studies
- Lower extremity arterial duplex studies
- Venous reflux studies
- Abdominal aorta and abdominal vascular studies
- Peripheral vascular examinations
- Echocardiograms (Echo)
- Obtain accurate diagnostic images and measurements while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Review patient history and prepare patients for procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to provide exceptional patient care.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, quality assurance, and infection control standards.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Cardiovascular Technology, or a related field (or equivalent education and experience).
- Current certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent accredited credential required.
- Echocardiography experience and/or credentialing preferred.
- Strong knowledge of vascular anatomy, physiology, and ultrasound imaging techniques.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a high standard of patient care.
