Job Description
The team at The Rag Company is looking for a talented Motion GFX Designer & Editor to help amplify our ability to educate and entertain customers through high quality video content.
In this role, you will work with our in house team of editors, videographers, and content creators to bring engaging visuals and motion graphics to life across a variety of projects including YouTube videos, advertisements, social media content, and website product listing videos.
We are looking for someone who is creative, detail oriented, and passionate about creating visually engaging content that helps simplify and elevate the content we create for the auto detailing industry.
Responsibilities
● Create motion graphics and animations for YouTube videos, advertisements, and social media content
● Assist in editing long form and short form video content
● Develop engaging visual assets that enhance storytelling and customer education
● Collaborate with the media team to maintain consistent branding and visual quality
● Organize and manage project workflows through ClickUp
● Work efficiently within deadlines while handling multiple projects at once
Requirements
● Portfolio showcasing previous motion graphics and editing work
● Strong experience with DaVinci Resolve, specifically the Fusion and Edit pages
● Understanding of pacing, transitions, typography, and visual storytelling
● Experience working within ClickUp or similar project management software
● Ability to work collaboratively within a creative team environment
● Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
● Experience creating content for YouTube and social media platforms
● Knowledge/Passion of the automotive industry or auto detailing
● Experience with sound design, color grading, or advanced animation workflows
● Familiarity with current social media editing trends and viewer retention techniques

Job Conditions:
- Normal business hours but may require extra hours to meet deadlines. Position will require extensive personal computer use and sitting for long periods.

Background and Reference Checks:

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
