We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Powder Coater to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying powder coatings to various metal surfaces, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet industry standards. This role requires a strong understanding of materials handling and the ability to work with precision measuring instruments. The Powder Coater will play a crucial role in enhancing the durability and aesthetic appeal of our products.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, or masking as necessary.
- Operate powder coating equipment, including spray guns and ovens.
- Apply powder coatings evenly and consistently to achieve desired finishes.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on coating equipment and troubleshoot any issues.
- Collaborate with team members to hang, prep and paint components as needed.
- Utilize hand tools and precision measuring instruments for accurate application.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in powder coating or related fields such as auto painting or construction painting is preferred.
- Familiarity with hand tools, materials handling, and basic math skills.
- Ability to operate cranes and other lifting equipment safely.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing processes.

Pay: $18.00 - $27.00 per hour
