Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems (Clover)
- Recommend menu items and upsell specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a positive atmosphere
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold sanitation standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations for bills and tips
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Clover POS, Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Experience with food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations
- Ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment while multitasking seamlessly
- Serving or host/hostess experience is advantageous but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing are essential
