Our client is looking for an SMT Machine Operator to join a dynamic electronics manufacturing team in Salem, NH. This role is essential for supporting high-reliability electronic assembly production, operating and programming surface mount technology (SMT) equipment, including high-end MyData machines, to ensure quality and efficiency in PCB assembly processes. In this position, you will be responsible for setting up and operating SMT machinery, interpreting process sheets and engineering instructions, and maintaining quality control throughout the manufacturing process. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to process improvements and work with advanced equipment used in high-reliability markets, including aerospace, defense, and industrial controls.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or electronics assembly environment
- Proven ability to operate and set up SMT machines, with MyData experience being a significant plus
- Knowledge of component identification and quality standards in electronics manufacturing
- High School diploma or equivalent
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
