Duties

- Oversee food preparation and presentation standards, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and quality benchmarks.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability.
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation with accuracy.
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Support kitchen management by supervising food production processes, maintaining cleanliness standards, and coordinating catering or banquet services when needed.
- Conduct staff interviews and participate in hiring decisions to build a talented team aligned with company values.
- Analyze profit and loss statements regularly to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost reduction strategies.
- Uphold food safety standards through regular training on food handling procedures and compliance with health regulations.
Skills
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management with a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety management.
- Extensive knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
- Demonstrated ability in inventory control, budgeting, and profit & loss analysis within a hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership skills with experience supervising teams, managing shifts, and training staff across various roles including culinary teams.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally and effectively.
- Experience in managing hospitality teams in casual dining or fine dining settings; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
- Ability to oversee kitchen operations, food production processes, and ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Competency in managing food industry regulations related to food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation practices.
- Effective communication skills for interviewing candidates, conducting staff training sessions, and collaborating with management teams.
