Director of Clinical Services

Job Summary:
Oversees the Clinical services and personnel of Partial Hospitalization/Intensive Outpatient Programs ensuring compliance and quality of care.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Responsible for quality improvement and standards for clinical documentation for the PHP/IOP levels of care.
Collaborates with the medical records and billing team to ensure all documentation is completed and meets medical necessity.
Handles all clinical audits from licensing agencies and payors.
Training and collaborating with clinicians, administration and billing team.
Acting as the Administrator on Call.
Facilitates Quarterly Performance meetings.
Responsible for hiring, terminating, supervising, and training all clinicians.
Develop internship programs, with assistance.
Create and disseminate clinical training.
Ensure clinical compliance.
Responsible for reviewing, updating, and implementing policies, procedures, and SOPs.
Implement Quarterly trainings for clinical staff.
Reviewing and updating clinical group curriculum.
Responsible for certain key performance indicators to be reviewed monthly.
Creates clinical staffing pattern and ensures consistency at each facility.
Creates budget for clinical services on a quarterly and annual basis.
Conduct Bi-Weekly clinician's meeting.
Ensures each clinical track has evidence based group curriculum and services (MH tracks have MH clinicians , EMDR, CBT/DBT, SA track 12-step, SMART recovery, relapse prevention, potentially develop eating disorder track and juvenile program).
Helps oversee quality and ensures standard of care is being met.
Communicates clinical program benefits and unique services to marketing and admissions.
Represents facility at conferences, events, marketing materials, social media, and promotional videos as the clinical voice of the sites/
Education and Experience:
Required: Licensed Clinician: Psy D, PhD, LICSW, LMHC, LPC, LCSW, LCDC
Minimum of 2 years post licensure experience
Minimum 1 year of clinical supervisory experience
Understanding of the disease model of addiction and evidence-based treatment
Knowledge of relevant legal, regulatory, and ethical standards
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills; judgement; and decision-making ability
Familiarity with DSM and ASAM Dimensions and level of care criteria
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Ability to maintain emotional stability to cope with human suffering, emergencies, and other stress
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
Experience:
- Partial Hospitalization/Intensive Outpatient Substance abuse: 1 year (Required)
- Clinical Supervisory: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Clinician License (Required)
