Suburban Home Health is a joint venture between several Suburban Health Organization hospital systems in Indiana. This allows us to work as an extension of our partner hospital systems to service homebound patients in our local communities.
The Business Development Liaison is responsible for the implementation of marketing strategies for the designated regions served by the agency.
- Promotes agency services in the community through marketing and public relations efforts to maintain existing business and identify opportunities for business growth.
- Builds rapport and maintains relationships with referral sources including discharge planners, hospitals, extended care facilities and assisted living facilities.
- Collaborates with Intake to effectively provide pertinent patient documentation.
- Maintains ongoing communication with case managers, discharge planners and physician’s offices to maintain and grow a strong network.
- Attends meetings with hospital case management, discharge planning and case conferences to ensure continuity of patient care and seamless transition to home health.
- Identifies potential business partners and communicates growth opportunities to the Director, Business Operations

Assesses the appropriateness of requested home care services to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Meets with patients pending discharge from facilities for pre-admission screening and introduction to agency services
- Represents the agency at community events
- Responsible for meeting agency goals set forth by expected business development in the region
- Organizes marketing events with community resources
- Manages social media accounts including sharing relevant content, engaging followers and responding to inquiries

Associates Degree in Healthcare Field or Bachelor’s Degree in business/marketing
- At least 1 year experience in health care marketing required
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements in healthcare marketing
- Must possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong presentation and marketing skills required
- Demonstrates attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize work, utilizing fundamental time management skills.
- Must possess valid Driver’s License and automobile insurance.
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office products required.
