Low Voltage Technician
Location: Waterloo, IA
Pay: $20.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM

Position Overview
Express Employment Professionals in Waterloo is seeking a Low Voltage Technician to join a local team. This position involves installing and servicing low-voltage systems at commercial job sites, including schools, hospitals, manufacturing facilities, and other commercial locations. The ideal candidate will have commercial low-voltage experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and service low-voltage systems at commercial sites
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on low-voltage equipment
- Read and follow technical instructions and project requirements
- Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
- Work independently and with crew members to complete projects
- Travel to various job sites as needed
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas
Qualifications:
- Commercial low-voltage installation and maintenance experience required
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and follow technical instructions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and use tools throughout the shift
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors
- Ability to travel between job sites
- Ability to perform installation and service work in commercial environments
Additional Information:
- Travel between job sites is required
- Employee may ride with the crew or drive their own vehicle
- Mileage is paid for travel over 40 miles
