Men's Wellness Centers is seeking a Medical Assistant (Nursing) to support our growing team of providers and help deliver exceptional patient care in a concierge men's health environment.
This role is ideal for an experienced Medical Assistant who enjoys working directly with patients, performing clinical procedures, supporting providers, and contributing to a professional, high-performance healthcare team.
Our Medical Assistants play a critical role in patient care, laboratory operations, medication administration, clinic readiness, and the overall patient experience.
What You'll DoPatient Care & Clinical Support
- Welcome and prepare patients for examinations, treatments, and laboratory services.
- Obtain and document vital signs, weight, height, and patient information.
- Prepare patients and exam rooms for provider visits.
- Assist providers during examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Provide patient education and follow-up instructions as directed by providers.
- Support a professional, efficient, and concierge-level patient experience.
Laboratory Services
- Perform venipuncture and blood specimen collection.
- Process, label, prepare, and ship laboratory specimens.
- Perform point-of-care testing and laboratory support activities.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and quality standards.
- Ensure laboratory documentation and compliance requirements are met.
Medication Management & Treatments
- Prepare medications according to provider orders and clinic protocols.
- Administer injections and treatments consistent with certification, training, company policy, and applicable regulations.
- Maintain medication inventory and monitor expiration dates.
- Accurately document treatments and medication administration.
- Support treatment protocols related to hormone optimization, weight loss, and wellness services.
Clinical Operations & Inventory Management
- Clean and prepare treatment rooms between patient visits.
- Maintain exam room readiness and supply levels.
- Assist with ordering, receiving, stocking, and organizing clinical supplies.
- Support clinic opening and closing procedures.
- Participate in quality assurance, equipment maintenance, and machine calibration activities.
Documentation & Technology
- Accurately document patient information, treatments, laboratory activities, and clinical observations within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Utilize EMR, laboratory, inventory management, scheduling, and other office systems.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Support operational workflows and communication among providers, staff, laboratories, and patients.
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Medical Assistant certification or relevant clinical experience.
- Experience performing venipuncture and specimen collection.
- Strong clinical and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
- Strong computer and documentation skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in men's health, primary care, wellness, hormone therapy, functional medicine, or medical weight loss.
- Experience administering injections.
- Experience with laboratory processing and specimen handling.
- Experience using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
- Current CPR certification.
- Experience in concierge or cash-pay healthcare environments.
