The Developer designs, develops, modifies, documents and delivers high‐quality programming that meets the specific needs of the business. Developers perform a variety of programming assignments requiring knowledge of established programming procedures and data processing requirements.
This is an on-site role located in Sioux Falls, SD. Responsibilities include:
Work with other developers on projects/tasks that may involve multiple systems interactions and team collaboration to accomplish the desired needs. Projects vary and may be web applications, web APIs, integrations, reports, enterprise application customizations, etc.
Work with internal teams to better understand technology needed to create business process efficiencies.
Collaborate with the team to evaluate, analyze, and prioritize requirements and contribute to designing solution options.
Contribute to designing and delivering quality software application solutions on time.
Serve as a subject matter expert for specific application(s).
Use independent thought, knowledge and judgment of the application to develop and write code to meet requirements for projects, often working in conjunction with more senior developers.
Perform unit tests on code to validate functionality.
Prepare necessary project documentation and deliver the documentation to the project manager and department manager.
Provide development effort estimates for new projects to the business analysts.
Coach and advise junior level software developers by providing knowledge, expertise, guidance and recommendations in activities such as documentation, coding standards and existing business processes.
Work with other developers to define and implement the user experience for new and existing applications. More experienced developers will take a lead role.
Make constructive suggestions for change and be a consistent advocate for user-centric design.

Bachelor’s Degree, or higher, Degree in Computer Sciences, Engineering, or similar field.
Strong technical understanding and working knowledge in:
Object-oriented programming.
.NET, C#, ASP.NET and Microsoft Visual Studio.
Relational database concepts and experience with writing.
SQL queries and objects.
Software development life cycle methodologies and Windows operating systems.
Software testing and quality assurance.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new programs.
Knowledge in MVC, Blazor, .NET Core, Web APIs, and JavaScript a plus.
Experience working with MS SQL Server a plus.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently with a sense of urgency
