Morning Position: between 10am-2 pm
Pays starts at $20/hr- $25/hr + commission
Line Cook Position is on a Food Trailer.
Location moves daily.
The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking menu items quickly, safely, and consistently in a fast-paced mobile food trailer. This position ensures high food quality, maintains food safety standards, keeps the kitchen clean and organized, and provides excellent customer service while supporting efficient trailer operations.
Duties
- Prepare, season, cook, and plate menu items according to company recipes and standards.
- Operate flat tops, other commercial kitchen equipment safely.
- Set up and break down cooking stations before and after service.
- Maintain proper food temperatures and portion control.
- Restock ingredients, sauces, packaging, and supplies throughout service.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures, including handwashing and preventing cross-contamination.
- Clean and sanitize workstations, cooking equipment, utensils, and food-contact surfaces throughout each shift.
- Receive and properly store food deliveries using FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practices.
- Work efficiently during high-volume service while maintaining food quality and presentation.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Follow all company policies, health department regulations, and safety procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous line cook, grill cook, restaurant, or food truck experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-heat environment.
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
- Dependable with excellent attendance.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
- Current food handler card required; ServSafe Manager certification preferred.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
