Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest issues and assess risks.
- Apply pesticides and chemical agents following strict safety protocols, including pesticide management and chemical handling procedures.
- Operate ladders, power tools, hand tools, and farm machinery safely during treatment applications in outdoor or landscaped areas.
- Engage customers professionally to explain pest control options, answer questions, and promote additional services through effective sales techniques.
- Follow integrated pest management strategies to ensure environmentally responsible and effective pest eradication.
- Maintain detailed records of pesticide applications, safety procedures, and customer interactions in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Operate company vehicles responsibly while adhering to all traffic laws and safety policies during transportation to job sites.
Requirements
- Proven experience in outdoor work environments such as lawn care, farming, landscaping, or agriculture is highly desirable.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with familiarity using hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, or other equipment is a plus.
- Knowledge of ladder safety procedures, confined space entry safety procedures, respiratory protection use, and chemical agent handling is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients.
- Understanding of pest control techniques, pesticide application knowledge, and integrated pest management principles.
- Ability to operate company vehicles safely and responsibly; a valid driver’s license is required.
- Physical ability to perform outdoor tasks involving ladder use, lifting equipment or chemicals, and working in various weather conditions.
