Overview

In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for preschool children. Duties
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards such as Montessori or other early childhood education frameworks
- Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and helping children develop social skills
- Engage children in literacy, math, and other foundational learning activities tailored to their developmental levels
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to active exploration and learning
- Provide individualized attention to children with special needs or disabilities, including those with autism or behavioral challenges
- Support routine childcare activities such as diapering, feeding, nap time, and outdoor play
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about children's progress and classroom activities to foster strong home-school connections
Experience
- Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is highly preferred
- Familiarity with early childhood development principles, including behavior management techniques and classroom management strategies
- Experience in lesson planning and curriculum development for preschool-aged children
- Knowledge of literacy education, math concepts, and basic childcare practices for toddlers and preschoolers
- Working knowledge of special education practices or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds and needs
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members, parents, and specialists effectively
