Description:
JOB SUMMARY:
This position must provide; a clean, sanitary comfortable, orderly and satisfying surrounding for the residents, employees, and visitors. The housekeeper must follow the instructions as given for handling, cleaning, disposing, and moving of objects/materials.
This position will offer a $500.00 dollar signing bonus paid after three months and a $1,500.00 retention bonus paid after six months.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Cleaning of halls, common areas, and vacant units, to include but not limited to, floors, walls, doors, bathrooms, grounds, stairwells, windows and appliances as instructed.

Develops property cleaning schedule with supervisor for adequate coverage of buildings and grounds.

Maintains appropriate levels of cleaning supply inventory

Maintains cleaning equipment in working order

Post notices as needed.

Work with maintenance and community manager for scheduling of vacant unit cleaning.

Decorate for the holidays including the hanging of decorations.

Assist in community meetings, holiday functions and special resident requests as needed.

Must be able to complete tasks in a timely manner.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

At least 1 year of housekeeping experience in an affordable housing environment.
