Overnight Laundry Attendant at Star Washateria
You'll keep Star Washateria running through the night - deep cleaning the facility and handling wash-and-fold orders so the daytime team can hit the ground running. It's independent, hands-on work with a steady rhythm: clean, fold, repeat. Perfect for someone who takes pride in their work and likes their own pace.
Day to Day
- Deep clean the entire facility: floors, walls, baseboards, folding tables, seating, and windows
- Wipe down and detail every washer and dryer - exteriors, control panels, doors, gaskets, and lint traps
- Wash, dry, and fold drop-off laundry with care - customers trust you with their clothes
- Scrub and sanitize restrooms, restock soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
- Empty trash, break down boxes, and take out the garbage
- Sweep and mop floors thoroughly - no shortcuts on the corners
- Restock supplies (detergent, dryer sheets, etc.) as needed
- Lock up properly and keep the facility secure during your shift
Who We're Looking For
- Reliable and punctual - non-negotiable, especially overnight
- Detail-oriented - you notice the dust on top of the machines, not just the floor
- Previous laundry experience strongly preferred - you should know how to handle different fabrics and follow care instructions
- Comfortable working alone for the full shift
- Able to stay on your feet and handle lifting (laundry bags, mop buckets, supply boxes)
- Cleaning or janitorial experience is a plus, but we'll train the right person
Pay & Details
- $9–$14/hr depending on experience
- Overnight shift (specify hours, e.g., 10 PM–6 AM)
- Paid training on cleaning standards, machines, and wash-and-fold process
