Job Overview
We are seeking a licensed Psychologist to join a well-established organization in New York, NY. This onsite role will support both Article 16 (OPWDD) and Article 31 (OMH) programs, with a primary focus on conducting psychological evaluations for individuals seeking eligibility through the OPWDD Front Door process.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (I/DD) populations and behavioral health clients. This position also includes completing psychosocial assessments and supporting the organization’s intake and assessment processes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-person psychological evaluations for OPWDD Front Door eligibility
- Complete psychosocial assessments and related clinical documentation
- Support Article 16 (OPWDD) and Article 31 (OMH) programs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EHR system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient care and assessment needs
- Participate in onsite evaluations and assessment activities
Schedule
- Approximately 3 onsite days per week
- Preferred schedule includes:
- One standard day
- Two extended days
- Clinic late hours:
- Tuesdays & Thursdays: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Flexible scheduling options available (morning, afternoon, or evening blocks)
Requirements
- Active New York State Psychologist License (PhD or PsyD required)
- Bilingual Spanish-speaking required
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities
- Familiarity with behavioral health populations
- EHR experience required
- Ability to work fully onsite in New York, NY
Pay: $90.00 - $115.00 per hour
