Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and manage the automotive sales team to meet or exceed sales goals through effective coaching, training, and performance management.
- Develop and implement innovative sales strategies to increase market share and attract new customers through outbound sales efforts, cold calling, and B2B sales approaches.
- Oversee the entire sales pipeline, from lead generation to deal closing, ensuring a seamless customer journey utilizing CRM software for tracking and follow-up.
- Conduct high-end sales negotiations with clients, leveraging strong communication skills and phone etiquette to maximize deal value while maintaining excellent customer relationships.
- Manage inventory control and inventory management processes to ensure optimal stock levels aligned with retail math principles.
- Support upselling initiatives by identifying customer needs and presenting tailored solutions that enhance revenue opportunities.
- Organize public speaking engagements and marketing activities to promote dealership offerings and strengthen community presence.
- Maintain detailed records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and dealership performance metrics for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience in automotive industry sales with a strong background in retail or passenger car sales.
- Demonstrated success in sales management, including team leadership, inventory management, and deal closing.
- Excellent negotiation skills combined with outbound sales experience such as cold calling or B2B outreach.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (Customer Relationship Management software) supported by technical knowledge for effective sales support.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication skills—both verbal and written—and professional phone etiquette.
- Experience in public speaking or marketing activities that promote dealership services is a plus.
- Knowledge of automotive inventory control, retail math, and dealership operations is preferred.
