Job Title: Construction Helper / Carpenter Apprentice

Position Overview
This position is designed for someone who wants to build a long-term career in residential construction. No prior carpentry experience is required. The successful candidate will receive hands-on training with the goal of advancing into a Carpenter position.
Responsibilities
- Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
- Set up ladders, tools, extension cords, and work areas.
- Assist with measuring, cutting, fastening, and installing building materials.
- Hand tools and materials to the carpenter as needed.
- Learn proper use of construction tools and safety procedures.
- Perform other duties necessary to complete residential construction projects.
Qualifications
- Dependable and punctual.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Physically able to lift 75 pounds and work outdoors.
- Comfortable using basic hand tools or willing to learn.
- Able to follow directions and work as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation to the shop.
Advancement Opportunity
This is an apprenticeship-style position. Employees who demonstrate reliability, initiative, and a commitment to learning will have the opportunity to advance into a Carpenter position with increased responsibilities and pay.
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
