Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Framing Supervisor to lead our framing crew in delivering high-quality construction projects. As a key leader on-site, you will oversee all aspects of framing operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and craftsmanship meet our rigorous standards. Your expertise in metal building erection, metal stud framing, and construction management will drive project success from start to finish. This role offers an exciting opportunity to coordinate skilled teams, interpret blueprints and schematics, and contribute to innovative building solutions in a fast-paced environment.
This is a travelling position. We do have some local work but this will be a travelling job 90% of the time.
Duties
- Supervise framing crews to ensure accurate and timely installation of structural frameworks using metal studs, or other materials.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for framing and related tasks.
- Oversee the safe operation of power tools, hand tools, heavy equipment, and welding equipment on-site.
- Manage daily work schedules, assign tasks effectively, and monitor progress to meet project deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, building codes, and quality standards across all framing activities.
- Conduct inspections of framing work including metal building erection, masonry, siding, roofing, plastering, stucco, and restoration projects.
- Facilitate training for team members on proper use of tools such as saws, drills, scaffolding, and other construction equipment.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work progress, safety incidents, and material usage for project records.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction management with a focus on framing or metal building erection.
- Extensive hands-on experience with concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, roofing, siding, and trim carpentry.
- Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction activities accurately.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation including cranes or lifts used in framing projects.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to construction sites including OSHA regulations.
- Ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and safety compliance.
- Prior experience working with power tools such as saws, drills, welders and hand tools essential for framing tasks. Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
