Job Description:
Cosmetica Brands, home of Sugar Pop Nails, Lash Method, and Colōris Gel, is looking for a friendly, dependable, and professional receptionist to join our team. As the first and last person our clients interact with, our receptionist plays an important role in creating a welcoming and positive salon experience. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable assisting clients both in person and over the phone. This is a hands-on position that includes front-desk responsibilities, retail sales, client checkout, and salon cleaning.
We are looking for someone who takes initiative, stays productive during slower periods, and notices what needs to be done without always being asked. You should feel comfortable working in a busy beauty environment, managing several tasks at once, and supporting our service providers throughout your shift. Knowledge of beauty, lashes, nails, or professional beauty products is helpful but not required. We are happy to train the right person who has a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn about all three of our brands.
Responsibilities:
Welcome clients and create a friendly, professional salon experience
Answer phone calls and assist clients with general questions
Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments
Check clients in and out Process payments accurately
Explain salon services, policies, and promotions
Learn about and recommend Colōris Gel and other retail products
Restock and organize retail displays
Keep the front desk, waiting area, and salon spaces clean and organized
Complete assigned cleaning and closing duties
Stay productive and help with additional tasks during slower periods
Represent Sugar Pop Nails, Lash Method, and Colōris Gel professionally
Qualifications:
Friendly, outgoing, and professional
Dependable, punctual, and able to follow through
Strong customer service and communication skills
Comfortable answering phones and speaking with clients
Basic computer and payment-processing skills
Able to multitask and remain organized in a busy environment
Willing to clean and help maintain the appearance of the salon
Retail, reception, or customer service experience is preferred but not required
Interest in the beauty industry is a plus
Must be available for all scheduled hours
