We are looking for someone who inspires children through observation, patience, creativity, and a deep respect for the developmental journey of every learner.
Position Responsibilities
- Observe, guide, supervise, and support children in a prepared Montessori environment.
- Develop meaningful lessons and individualized learning experiences that foster social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development.
- Create and maintain a nurturing, orderly, and stimulating classroom where every child feels respected, safe, and valued.
- Foster independence, concentration, confidence, and intrinsic motivation in students.
- Build trusting and respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student growth, progress, and classroom experiences.
- Model Montessori values such as kindness, grace and courtesy, respect, accountability, empathy, and peaceful conflict resolution.
- Maintain accurate student records, observations, and progress reports.
- Ensure classroom materials are complete, organized, and accessible to support independent learning.
- Participate actively in school events, staff collaboration, professional development, and community activities.
- Support and mentor new staff members while contributing positively to the school culture.
Qualifications
- Montessori certification from an accredited Montessori training program preferred.
- A bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field.
- Passion for Montessori and child-centered education.
- Ability to work with children of varying ages, developmental levels, and learning styles.
- Strong observation, communication, organizational, and classroom leadership skills.
- Patient, flexible, calm, and nurturing demeanor.
- Commitment to lifelong learning, self-reflection, and professional growth.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a respectful and supportive school community.
