The English Language Institute at the University at Buffalo invites applications for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 Adjunct Instructors to teach credit-bearing English courses to first-year international undergraduate students (in-person).
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare and deliver lessons to L2 international undergraduate students that prioritize academic writing and/or speaking and are based on specific student needs.
- Evaluate student progress and academic achievement through a combination of course papers, presentations, groupwork tasks, and overall student engagement.
- Maintain student records, including grades and attendance.
- Participate in required departmental meetings.
- Hold regular office hours for student conferencing.
