Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to ensure safety and hygiene compliance.
- Manage laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items.
- Maintain floor care through sweeping, scrubbing, carpet cleaning, and floor polishing to preserve the appearance and safety of all flooring types.
- Handle manual lifting of furniture, appliances, or supplies safely while adhering to proper handling techniques to prevent injury.
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific needs and provide exceptional customer service throughout each visit.
- Use janitorial and custodial experience to operate cleaning equipment effectively while maintaining cleanliness standards in both indoor and outdoor areas.
Experience
- Prior residential cleaning or housekeeping experience is highly preferred; hotel or commercial cleaning background is a plus.
- Familiarity with cleaning surfaces such as countertops, appliances, windows, and fixtures.
- Knowledge of cleaning detergents, floor care products, and sanitation practices to ensure effective cleaning results.
- Experience with carpet cleaning methods and outdoor work is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple client homes.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling supplies or furniture during deep cleans or outdoor work.
- Excellent client communication skills to foster trust and ensure customer satisfaction in all interactions.
