Overview
We are seeking an energetic, dependable, and experienced Floor Manager to oversee front-of-house operations and help deliver an exceptional guest experience. The Floor Manager will lead the service team during assigned shifts, maintain hospitality and service standards, address guest concerns, and ensure the dining room operates smoothly and efficiently.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who communicates well, remains composed in a fast-paced environment, and understands how to balance guest satisfaction, team performance, and operational needs.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily front-of-house operations and ensure smooth, efficient service throughout each shift
- Lead, support, and motivate servers, bartenders, hosts, bussers, and other front-of-house employees
- Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate menu updates, reservations, special events, and service expectations
- Monitor the dining room, bar, and guest areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and proper service standards
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, daily reports, and securing the restaurant
- Manage reservations, table flow, seating, and staffing levels during busy service periods
- Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to current team members
- Address guest questions, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly
- Ensure employees follow company policies, uniform standards, food safety guidelines, and responsible alcohol-service procedures
- Support the team during service by assisting with seating, running food, clearing tables, processing payments, and other operational needs
- Monitor employee attendance, punctuality, side work, and overall shift performance
- Assist with scheduling, shift coverage, staff evaluations, and disciplinary matters as needed
- Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to maintain clear communication and timely service
- Help manage inventory and supplies related to front-of-house operations
- Identify opportunities to improve service, efficiency, teamwork, and the overall guest experience
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant management, floor management, or supervisory experience required
- Strong understanding of full-service restaurant operations and front-of-house service standards
- Experience leading and training a diverse hospitality team
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain professional and composed while managing multiple priorities
- Strong guest-service and conflict-resolution skills
- Experience with restaurant POS systems and cash-handling procedures
- Knowledge of food safety and responsible alcohol-service requirements
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and other high-volume periods
- Ability to stand and move throughout the restaurant for extended periods
- ServSafe Manager and alcohol-service certifications are preferred or must be obtained as required

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
