This success was built with over 175 years of combined dealership experience within our tenured staff, and we are now looking to grow the service department and are in search of a motivated, highly experienced outdoor power equipment technician to add to the team.
Job responsibilities (Include but not limited to)-
- Efficiently diagnose and repair a wide variety of outdoor power equipment including lawn tractors, zero turn mowers, chainsaws, string trimmers, and more
- Complete complex repairs on components such as hydrostatic pumps & transmissions, air & liquid cooled single/twin cylinder engines, EFI fuel systems, and other electrical components
- Act as a contact with the factory tech support group if manufacturer help is needed with a complex diagnostic repair
- Assist with the setup, prep and detail/clean up of mowers, tractors and handhelds
- Assist management in any other technical related tasks on site as needed
Position Requirements-
- MUST have at least 1 year experience with all aspects of OPE diagnosis & repair in a dealership environment
- MUST have a solid understanding of 2 stroke handheld equipment and be able to repair and tune accordingly
- MUST have own tools
- Must be willing and able to lift 50+ lbs
- MUST be a team player and work on any equipment management dispatches
Position Details-
- Position is located at Wadhams Equipment - 5078 Lapeer Rd, Kimball, MI
- Position is full time M-F 9-5(Thurs 9-7 rotational) and Saturdays rotational
- Paid vacation, paid holidays, and health insurance available after waiting period
- Position pays up to $30 per hour heavily depending on experience and ability
