Position
Experienced Bartender
Experience Required: 2–5 years of professional bartending experience
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced bartender who is confident behind the bar, knowledgeable about wine, cocktails, beer, and spirits, and comfortable providing attentive and engaging service. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, personable, and able to maintain excellent service standards during both relaxed evenings and busy events.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive service to every guest.
- Prepare and serve wine, cocktails, beer, and other beverages accurately and efficiently.
- Develop a working knowledge of Mandy’s wine selections and confidently make recommendations to guests.
- Prepare classic cocktails and execute Mandy’s signature cocktail recipes consistently.
- Properly open, present, and serve bottles of wine.
- Maintain a clean, organized, stocked, and guest-ready bar.
- Complete opening and closing duties accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor inventory and communicate product needs to management.
- Follow responsible alcohol-service practices and all applicable liquor laws.
- Process guest transactions accurately through the POS system.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen, bar, and service staff.
- Assist with wine tastings, live music nights, special events, and other Mandy’s Wine Bar experiences.
- Help create the warm, relaxed, neighborhood-focused atmosphere Mandy’s is known for.
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of bartending experience required.
- Wine bar, cocktail bar, restaurant, or upscale-casual experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, beer, and basic wine service.
- Interest in expanding wine knowledge is highly valued.
- Excellent communication and guest-service skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain composed during high-volume service.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform normal bartending duties, including lifting and moving bar inventory.
- Must meet all applicable requirements for serving alcoholic beverages.

Schedule
Availability for evenings and weekends is required. Additional availability may be needed for special events, wine tastings, live music, and holidays.
Pay: $15.50 - $18.00 per hour
