Travel RN - Operating Room - Cardiovascular OR/CVOR

Job Details

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a CVOR position requiring 2 years of CVOR and General OR experience and Epic proficiency.

Work in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) and General OR settings
Day shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 6:45 PM
13-week assignment length
Exposure to vascular, cardiovascular, general surgery, thoracic, transplant, and robotics procedures
Utilizes Epic charting system
Procedures may include CABG, TAVR, LVAD/RVAD, VATS, and Da Vinci Xi Robotic Surgery

Active LA RN license or Compact license required at time of consideration, pending licenses not accepted
Minimum 2 years of CVOR and General OR nursing experience required
Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and CPI
Prior travel nursing experience required, first-time travelers not accepted
Epic charting system experience required
At least two recent supervisor references required

Provide nursing care across a wide range of surgical specialties including cardiovascular, vascular, thoracic, transplant, and general surgery
CPI certification can be obtained onsite at the facility for a fee
Candidates residing within 75 miles are considered local and paid at the local rate
Former permanent staff of the health system must be separated for at least 1 year before being eligible for travel positions
Any prior license actions must be disclosed along with a personal statement
RTO of 5 days or less is generally expected
