Responsibilities
- Set up, maintain, and remove traffic control signs, cones, barriers, and flagging devices according to project specifications and safety standards
- Direct traffic flow around construction zones to ensure safety for workers and the public
- Assist with the installation of construction signage and reflective markings on roads or equipment
- Operate heavy machinery such as loaders, backhoes, graders, dozers, dump trucks, front loader trucks, and utility locating equipment as needed
- Support paving operations and other construction activities by handling materials and assisting crew members
- Conduct routine inspections of traffic control setups to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate daily tasks and address any safety concerns promptly
Qualifications
- Prior experience in construction site work or traffic control is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Ability to operate heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, dump trucks, front loader trucks, and utility locating tools such as Caterpillar machinery
- Knowledge of construction processes such as paving, utility installation, or general site preparation is a plus
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to traffic control and heavy equipment operation
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license; CDL certification is advantageous but not mandatory for all roles

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
