Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning and sanding parts prior to powder coating.
- Apply powder coating evenly using electrostatic spray equipment.
- Operate curing ovens to ensure proper finish durability and appearance.
- Assist the finishing assembly department with light hookups and instulations.
- Inspect finished products for quality and report any defects or concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of orders.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in powder coating and/or assembly is a plus but not required.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure quality finishes and accurate assembly.
- Ability to stand, kneel, and use hand tools
- Ability to handle heat and loud environment
- Willingness to learn and adhere to safety protocols.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed.
Pay: $18.00 per hour
