Location: Adrian, MI
Compensation: $28–$35/hr DOE (Top rate reserved for highly experienced candidates)
We are a growing precision manufacturing company seeking a senior-level CNC Machinist / Programmer to take a lead role in our machining operations. This position is not entry-level and is best suited for candidates who can work independently and bring strong technical expertise to the floor.
Key Responsibilities
- Program, set up, and run Haas CNC mills and/or lathes
- Develop, modify, and optimize programs using Mastercam
- Independently select tooling, workholding, and cutting strategies
- Interpret CAD models and engineering drawings with minimal supervision
- Troubleshoot machining issues and ensure dimensional accuracy
- Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring tools
- Support continuous improvement and best machining practices
Required Qualifications
· Minimum 3+ years of hands-on CNC machining experience using Mastercam
· Proven experience programming and setting up jobs independently
· Strong knowledge of fixturing, tooling, and machining strategy
· Experience holding tight tolerances in a production environment
· Reliable, punctual, and professional with a team-oriented mindset
This role is intended for experienced machinists. Entry-level or trainee applicants will not be considered.
