Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled experienced commercial HVAC service mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC/R systems, including maintenance and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment. This role requires a hands-on approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving in various environments. The HVAC service mechanic will play a crucial role in ensuring optimal performance of HVAC systems and enhancing customer satisfaction through quality service. Experience with large tonnage packaged rooftop equipment and Variable Refrigerant Flow systems is required.. This position does NOT require "On call"
Responsibilities
- Maintain, and repair HVAC/R systems in commercial and industrial settings.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on heating and cooling equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC issues and provide effective solutions to ensure system efficiency.
- Conduct equipment repairs on packaged air conditioning units, VRF systems, mini split systems and other related appliances.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Adhere to safety protocols while working with various tools and equipment.
Experience
- Proven experience as an HVAC service mechanic in the field service industry.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance.
- Experience ywith VRF refrigerant systems
- Knowledge of various air conditioning systems is essential.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
