Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Brick Mason & Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential renovations to large-scale commercial builds. As a Brick Mason & Laborer, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and restoring structures using various masonry materials, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on every job site. Your expertise will help bring architectural visions to life while adhering to all safety protocols and project specifications.
Responsibilities
- Lay bricks, blocks, stone, and other masonry materials with precision according to blueprints and technical drawings
- Prepare construction sites by setting up scaffolding, mixing mortar, and measuring layouts accurately
- Install rebar reinforcement and form concrete structures as specified in project plans
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, and install building materials
- Assist with heavy equipment operation when necessary for lifting or moving materials on-site
Requirements
- Proven experience in masonry work including bricklaying, stone masonry, concrete masonry, and restoration projects
- Knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings
- Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and proper use of hand tools and power tools
- Experience with concrete forming, rebar installation, concrete finishing, and schematics interpretation
- Skilled in masonry scaffold building and working at heights safely
- Strong understanding of renovation processes and building material installation techniques
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely when required for project tasks
