Maintenance Technician – Wilton Manors, FL
Pay: $18–$19 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | On-call rotation as needed
About the Position:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team for a residential property in Wilton Manors. The ideal candidate is hands-on, dependable, and experienced in general building maintenance, with a strong focus on electrical work.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs across the property.
- Handle electrical troubleshooting and repairs (electrical background preferred).
- Complete plumbing work including unclogging drains, replacing fixtures, and minor pipe repairs.
- Patch, repair, and replace sheetrock/drywall.
- Perform roof inspections and minor roof repairs (preferred).
- Respond promptly to work orders and maintenance requests.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow safety standards.
- Assist with unit turnovers and preventative maintenance schedules.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a maintenance or building technician.
- Strong electrical and plumbing knowledge.
- Ability to perform drywall and minor roofing work.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work both indoors and outdoors.
- Professional attitude and strong problem-solving skills.
