**Specialty**: General/Invasive Cardiologist
**Work Setting**: Combination of clinic and on-call responsibilities
- Call frequency: 1:3 rotation, totaling approximately 10 days of call per month
- Responsibilities include both new and established patient evaluations
**Schedule**: - Standard working hours: 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday
- Call coverage: Required for 2 weeks each month
**Clinical Duties**: - Involves outpatient clinic responsibilities, inpatient rounding, imaging, and testing interpretations
- Procedures will vary based on the physician’s expertise and depth of experience, including:
- Diagnostic catheterizations
- Transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs)
- Cardioversion procedures - Loop device implantation and explantation
- While diagnostic catheter work is an available component, it is not mandatory
- Support staff: 1 Advanced Practice Provider (APP)
- Note: No supervisory responsibilities for this position
** EMR and Documentation**:
- Utilizes EPIC for electronic medical records, with Dragon for dictation support
**Qualifications**: - Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
- Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Proctoring might be necessary depending on the procedures performed and interpretations of readings
- Clinical experience: - Minimum of 50 cases within the last 12 months, including at least 25 TEEs
**Licensure Considerations**:
- Will consider candidates holding an Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) license or those awaiting licensure
- Michigan state license or IMLC eligibility preferred
