We are seeking an experienced Machine Shop Supervisor to lead our manufacturing department in the Depew, NY area. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, guide a talented team of machinists, and ensure production meets our strict quality standards.
What You Will Do
- Direct Production: Schedule jobs, assign daily tasks, and optimize shop floor workflow. Strong attention to detail
- Lead Personnel: Train, mentor, and evaluate CNC and manual machine operators.
- Maintain Quality: Review parts against blueprints and ensure absolute precision.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow company policies and procedures. Enforce OSHA safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Troubleshoot: Resolve machining bottlenecks, tooling issues, and program errors.
What We Look For
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on machining experience.
- Leadership: Minimum 2–3 years in a supervisory or shop lead role.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of CNC programming, setups, and tooling.
- Blueprint Reading: Advanced ability to read and interpret complex mechanical drawings.
- Local Commute: Reliable transportation to our facility in the Depew / Greater Buffalo area.
