Position Overview
seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support production operations by developing, improving, and sustaining manufacturing processes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for an engineer with 3–5 years of manufacturing support experience who is passionate about process improvement, production efficiency, and quality.
The Manufacturing Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes, troubleshoot production issues, develop manufacturing documentation, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that support operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes to support production goals.
· Create, revise, and maintain manufacturing work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process documentation.
· Analyze production layouts, equipment, workflow, and assembly methods to improve efficiency and productivity.
· Identify and implement process improvements that enhance product quality, reduce waste, and increase manufacturing performance.
· Troubleshoot production line issues and perform root cause analysis to implement effective corrective actions.
· Support manufacturing operations by determining tooling, fixtures, equipment, and materials required for production.
· Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and other departments to resolve manufacturing challenges.
· Assist with new product introductions, engineering changes, and process validation activities.
· Monitor manufacturing performance metrics and recommend continuous improvement opportunities.
· Ensure manufacturing processes comply with company quality, safety, and operational standards.
· Participate in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
· Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing engineering experience in a production or manufacturing support environment (3–5 years preferred).
· Experience creating and maintaining manufacturing work instructions and process documentation.
· Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production support, and process optimization.
· Experience troubleshooting manufacturing or production line issues.
· Knowledge of assembly methods, manufacturing workflow, tooling, and production equipment.
· Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common manufacturing software systems.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
· Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
· Experience supporting engineering change orders (ECOs) and process validation.
· Familiarity with quality systems and manufacturing documentation.
· Experience with root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
