Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh pretzels and other snack items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Operate POS systems to process sales accurately and efficiently
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and upselling products to enhance their experience
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the food prep area, dining space, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist with food handling
- Support team members with food preparation tasks, restocking supplies, and managing time effectively during busy periods
Skills
- Experience in food preparation, food service, or quick service & fast food restaurants is highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and ability to upsell products confidently
- Knowledge of food safety procedures, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction accuracy
- Previous restaurant or retail experience is a plus
