Residential Solar Installer
Newport Electric Construction Corp. (NEC) is a full service electrical/ solar contracting firm located in Bristol, RI. The Solar division of NEC, with a highly integrated group of field personnel, is looking for a hands-on, highly skilled, site installers to join our team. This division provides a wide level of solar electrical service and solar electrical construction to consumers in both southeastern MA and RI.
At NEC, we look for employees who like a challenge and can provide clarity and guidance to both customers and field personnel. As a solar installer, you will join a team of field personnel working collective on solar projects taking direction form the site foreman. Requirements:
- Highly motivated with previous construction experience
- Previous residential solar experience is a plus
- Personal means of transportation to and from shop or job sites
- Comfortable with working at heights
- Able to lift 50lbs.
- A valid driver’s license
- Previous experience in roofing, carpentry and/or general construction
What you need to succeed at NEC:
At a minimum, you’ll need:
- High school education or equivalent
- OSHA 10 at time of hire
- Valid driver license.
