Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our retail sales team and drive business growth. Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the retail sales team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer experiences
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and merchandising plans
- Oversee inventory control, and purchasing activities to optimize product availability
- Manage store operations including cash handling, cashiering, POS (Point of Sale) systems, and daily financial reconciliation
- Conduct employee orientation, training & development sessions to enhance team skills in sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer service
- Supervise shift management, scheduling, and operational tasks ensuring smooth store functioning throughout the day
- Utilize strong communication skills to engage with customers, resolve issues promptly, and foster long-term relationships
Experience
- Proven management experience within the retail industry, specifically in sales team supervision or store management roles
- Demonstrated success in retail sales management with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Strong background in inventory management, merchandising, pricing strategies, and operational oversight
- Experience with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding new employees, and conducting performance evaluations
- Skilled in negotiation, employee orientation, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and cash handling procedures
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively
- Familiarity with POS systems, wireless sales environments and retail math concepts
