We are looking for an experienced Cabinet Maker or Finish Carpenter who takes pride in high-quality work and craftsmanship.
This role is ideal for someone who has spent time in cabinetry or finish carpentry—potentially running their own jobs or business—and is looking for a long-term opportunity to apply their skills in a stable, team-oriented shop environment.
We are a small, detail-focused shop producing custom cabinetry and millwork. You will be involved in a wide range of work and trusted to take ownership of projects.
Schedule:
Responsibilities:
- Build and assemble custom cabinetry, built-ins, and millwork
- Interpret plans, elevations, and project details with minimal supervision
- Maintain a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail
- Assist with shop organization, material handling, and project flow
- Operate shop equipment (table saws, sanders, nail guns, etc.) safely and efficiently
- Occasionally assist with delivery, installs, and driving truck/trailer
Requirements:
- 3–5+ years of experience in cabinetry, finish carpentry, or related field
- Strong working knowledge of cabinet construction methods and materials
- Ability to read and execute from plans and elevations
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
- Experience with standard shop tools and equipment
- Ability to lift and handle sheet goods (¾” MDF, plywood, etc.)
Bonus (not required):
- Experience running your own jobs or business
- CNC operation or programming experience
Compensation & Growth:
- Starting pay: $27–$38/hour, depending on experience
- Compensation is reevaluated after an initial trial period based on performance and fit
